To this day, fans regularly stop her on the street, not only recognizing her but often reciting her commercials word for word. While Diane began her career as a stand-up comedian, her heart ultimately led her to become a professional storyteller, where humor, truth, and lived experience intersect. Along the way, she won numerous game shows, appeared in major motion pictures, and worked closely with Robin Williams, performing with him on stage in the 1980s and appearing in films connected to his creative orbit. These experiences shaped her voice—warm, fearless, and deeply human—while reinforcing her belief in laughter as a connective force. 

Today, Diane’s work is defined by joy, authenticity, and pride in a career that bridges comedy, storytelling, and cultural impact. She lives in San Francisco with her husband, Jim, and their daughter, Cassie who is soon off to college, and remains closely connected to her son, Kelvin, a conductor for the San Francisco Cable Cars; his wife Cleo, a real estate agent, and  their wonderful three children.
